Be wary of highly processed breakfast foods like sugary cereals, even those claiming to be high in fibre. Instead, opt for fresh, varied, and minimally processed ingredients — whole fruit, nuts, oats, eggs, vegetables, and quality dairy. There's no evidence that breakfast helps you lose weight, but it does support mental focus and reduces morning anxiety.
